The Secretariat is ICAB’s full-time administrative team. They are responsible for implementing Council decisions, managing membership records, coordinating events and CPD activities, overseeing communications, and supporting all stakeholders. The Secretariat is led by the Chief Executive Officer and includes a team of dedicated professionals serving ICAB members and the wider public.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Provides overall leadership and strategic direction for ICAB, ensuring the delivery of its strategic plan and effective management of operations. Serves as the Institute’s primary representative, building key stakeholder relationships and guiding the development of the accountancy profession in Barbados.

Manager – Administration
Oversees the day-to-day operations of ICAB, ensuring the effective delivery of its programmes and services. Manages administrative, financial, and organisational functions, and supports governance and regulatory processes. The role also deputises for the CEO when required.

Member & Student Services Lead
Leads engagement with members and students, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective communication. Oversees key programmes, including the ACCA Joint Examination Scheme, and works with relevant committees to enhance member value and support student progression.

Member Services Officer
Supports member engagement and the delivery of CPD and other events for members. This includes registration, hosting and the financial reporting for CPD events. Assists with member communications, subscriptions, and partnerships, while helping to enhance the overall value of ICAB membership.

Student Services Officer
Provides support to students through administration of student records, applications, and subscriptions. Assists with events, engagement initiatives, and the transition of students to full membership. Additionally, the role contributes to basic accounting functions, including receivables follow-up, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
