ICAB's Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee issues guidance notes to help members apply accounting and auditing standards correctly in practice. These documents cover topics including the format and content of auditor's reports, the adoption of new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and other technical matters relevant to the profession in Barbados. Guidance notes are approved by Council before publication and are effective from the dates specified in each document. Members are encouraged to apply the most recent guidance note in each series.
