ICAB Annual Report 2025

Explore ICAB’s 2025 Annual Report, Beyond Numbers: Redefining the Accountant of Tomorrow, which reflects the completion of ICAB’s 2023-2025 strategic cycle and its transition into the 2026-2028 Strategic Plan. The report covers a membership of 1,154 members and 883 students, total revenue of $1,096,793 representing an approximate 2.4% increase over 2024, 33 CPD events offering 86 hours of learning to 4,456 participants, the launch of ICAB’s new member portal, the first-time hosting of the IFAC PAO Development Advisory Group in Barbados, and eight practice monitoring reviews, including six satisfactory outcomes. It also includes the President’s and CEO’s reports, Accountants’ Week 2025 highlights, ICAC and IFAC engagement updates, full audited financial statements, committee updates, and the complete list of ICAB members.

What To Expect

What’s Inside an Annual Report?

Each ICAB Annual Report gives a complete picture of the Institute’s work over the year. You will find the President’s Report and CEO’s Report setting the strategic direction, followed by detailed committee reports covering areas including Accounting and Auditing Standards, Continuing Professional Development, Education and Student Services, Practice Monitoring and Membership.

The report also includes the financial analysis for the year as presented by the Treasurer, fully audited financial statements, a record of Council attendance, and the complete list of ICAB members for the year. For the public, it demonstrates how ICAB fulfils its responsibilities as Barbados’ professional regulatory body and continues to serve the accounting profession and national interest.

Members rely on it to stay informed. Prospective members use it to understand the Institute’s scope and health. Employers, government bodies, and the public use it to assess ICAB’s accountability and impact.
