Steps to Becoming a Student or Full Member

The process of joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados as a student or full member is quick and easy.

Step 1. Go to the Student Application or Member Application . 

Step 2. Follow the steps in each respective application: All applications require you to upload supporting documentation and pay the fees. 

Step 3. The office will contact you with any questions about your application.

Step 4.  The completed application and supporting documentation to become a Full Member are sent to the Admissions Committee and the committee makes a recommendation to Council.  Please note the process for Full Membership normally takes two to three months.

Step 5. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados will provide a formal communication about the outcome of your application.

Step 6. If successful, you will receive a welcome package and member certificate. In the event, of an appeal, please contact the office at admin@icab.bb
