Sharon Mohammed is the Managing Director of Topaz Consulting Inc., a firm she founded in
2015 providing audit and accounting services to SMEs. She has over 25 years of experience
in public practice, delivering assurance, financial reporting, and advisory services to clients
across a wide range of industries.

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Fellow
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB), having joined both institutions
in 2008 and obtaining her general practising certificate from ICAB in 2012.

Sharon has been actively involved in the work of ICAB since 2013. She served on the
Ethics, Governance & Risk Committee from 2013 to 2023, including as Chair from 2019. She
chaired the Admissions Committee from 2016 to 2019 and continues to serve as a member.
She also currently serves on the By-Laws Review Committee.

Beyond her professional and institutional contributions, Sharon is actively involved in
community service through her work with the Progressive Optimist Club of Barbados Inc.,
contributing to youth development initiatives and community-building programmes.
